WE DEEPLY UNDERSTAND
GUITAR REPAIR
Shopflow was built by and for Guitar Repair shops
OUR STORY
Shopflow was born at Glaser Instruments in the Berry Hill neighborhood of Nashville, TN – where we’re still based today. It’s the brainchild of Joe Glaser (Owner) who has always been an innovative repair person and wanted a better way to manage the work flowing through his busy professional shop. With input from his employees and several other shops, the first version of Shopflow was created as a basic work order maker that made it easy to track the who, what, when, where, why, and how much.
A few years later… the application had become indispensable at Glaser’s, and the repair community-at-large began to ask about getting a copy for their own shops. With our family expanding we asked A LOT of questions – version two was coming to life before our eyes.
With demand for Shopflow increasing along with some of our other projects (EX: gitwik.com), we founded GitSuite (gitsuite.org) to be the umbrella for several Glaser-driven digital projects. We forged relationships, streamlined the software, and hired great people.
Paper tickets are out, Shopflow is in.
It has become a game-changer for our customers. Insights from Shopflow about pricing and financial reporting turned several smaller shops into serious outfits.
Now… Shopflow is the definitive system and methodology for managing every aspect of a repair shop.
We look forward to working with you!
SHOPFLOW CAN HELP YOU
We firmly believe that sharing knowledge is critical to the success of the Musical Instrument business. Countless people have been able to make better guitars, basses, and amps because somebody shared a well-earned insight with them. This raises the overall impression of the industry, in-turn making it better and larger – meaning more real music. With Shopflow we’re trying to do our part. This Repair Shop Management System was forged out of necessity and shared out of duty. Our pricing is based on the bottom line of what is needed to cover development and server costs and that is it (nobody is getting rich on this).
Our mission is centered around one thing… blowing the customers mind with great a experience. Virtually every business is trending towards personalized customer service and transparency, and we knew our shop needed to deliver on modern (and reasonable) expectations to be relevant. The pairing of technology and craftsmanship is inevitable, like the adage goes “work smarter, not harder.” Every Shopflow Repair Shop is a part of a greater mission to make guitars better and shops more profitable.
